FUSION NAMES PREMIUM IMPORTS LIMITED EXCLUSIVE CANADIAN DISTRIBUTOR

Fusion Electronics

Fusion, a worldwide leader in marine and car audio, has announced that, effective immediately, Premium Imports Limited (PiL) is the exclusive Canadian distributor for both its automotive and marine audio electronics. Previously, PiL held exclusive distribution rights in Canada for the automotive brand and shared the marine category with other marine channel distributors.

“Our exclusive relationship with Fusion is incredibly exciting for us,” said Mike Brawley, president, PiL. “It gives us the opportunity to position the brand with Canada’s best 12 volt retailers and draw on the attractiveness of a full car and marine product offering. Fusion’s commanding presence in the marine segment will help us to raise the brand’s awareness in the automotive market as a strong mid- to high-end amp, speaker, subwoofer and active bass box supplier.”

“Based on our growth in other markets, we believe Fusion’s exclusive relationship with PiL will propel us to more than double our business in the Canadian market,” said Chris Baird, president and CEO, Fusion.

“Our partnership with West Coast Sales has resulted in tremendous success in the US market and we are looking forward to achieving similar results with PiL,” continued Baird. “Fusion marine and audio products are factory installed on prestigious brands such as Regal, Monterey, Sunseeker, Boston Whaler, Bavaria, Hanse and Princess yachts, among others. I hope to develop similar business relationships with some of the great Canadian boat builders!”
