The Hacker Boat Company is in the process of relocating its operations to 315 Corinth Road, Queensbury, NY, 12804 ( ½ mile west of I-87/Adirondack Northway Exit 18).

The corporate offices are now in the new location; the production and restoration operations will be moved later this spring. The company is actively recruiting craftspeople for positions in boat building/production and restoration.

The company plans to add a showroom and ships store on the site, at a later date.

Morgan Marine, the company’s Lake George waterfront facility, comprised of a boat yard, storage facility and show room, will remain at 8 Delaware Avenue, Silver Bay, NY, 12874.

George Badcock, president/CEO, said of the new location, “this move will benefit our employees and existing and prospective customers. The majority of our employees will have a much shorter commute, and we believe the new location will better enable us to attract new employees. The more convenient location will make it easier for prospective customers to view and discuss purchasing a Hacker-Craft.”

The new facility, 40% larger than the existing facility, will allow the company to increase production of new boats for anticipated new markets in Europe and the Middle East, as well as expanding restoration operations.

Queensbury, NY, USA -based Hacker Boat Company is the largest American manufacturer of classic mahogany motorboats. The company is represented by dealers in California, Indiana, Maryland and Thailand. “Hacker” craftspeople hand-build runabouts, sport boats, yacht tenders, launches and utilities. The boats were named by “Forbes Magazine FYI” as being “50 of America’s Best” products. The Neiman Marcus Edition Hacker-Craft was selected as a “fantasy gift” in the famous Neiman Marcus Christmas Book catalog. In September 2019 Prince Albert of Monaco awarded a vintage Hacker-Craft the 1st prize at the annual Monaco Classic Week, La Belle Classe.
