IBEX’s OPENING NIGHT “PARTY FOR A PURPOSE” TO KICK OFF THE 2014 SHOW WITH FOOD, DRINKS, LIVE MUSIC, AND MORE

Ibex Opening Night

The International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference will open with "Party for a Purpose" September 30, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Sail Pavilion outside the Tampa Convention Center.

The event will give attendees a chance to network and learn about advocacy work for the boating industry while enjoying food, drinks, and entertainment. All exhibitors and attendees are invited.

"The IBEX Opening Night Party for a Purpose will give everyone a chance to network and learn about advocacy work for the boating industry while enjoying local food, drinks, and entertainment." said Anne Dunbar, IBEX Show Director. "We anticipate a great turn out for what will be the most social event of the show and an opportunity to learn about and get active in our industry's critical advocacy work in Washington, DC."

The Party will be held at the Sail Pavilion, Tampa's only 360 degree waterfront bar, located on the Riverwalk just outside the Tampa Convention Center. Guests will enjoy delicious cuisine from the Food Truck Rally, featuring the local food trucks of Tampa, offering many different choices to suit everyone's cravings.

Entertainment will include live music from country sensation Will Erickson and on-site cigar rolling. Attendees who want to get involved in boating advocacy efforts can sign a Prior Approval Form on-site and receive a ticket good for one free drink.

"We thank the member companies of NMMA's Accessory Manufacturers Division (AMD) board of directors for graciously sponsoring this worthwhile event," said NMMA President Thom Dammrich. "This is a wonderful opportunity for attendees and exhibitors to learn about the top legislative and regulatory issues that the boating industry faces, including ethanol and the Renewable Fuel Standard, tax policies, protecting boater access, and more."

Guests will be invited to network with peers while learning how to get involved in helping the boating industry.
