Legend Boats welcomes Partners from coast to coast to the Legend Campus for the first in-person events since 2019.

Whitefish, Ontario, located just outside of Sudbury, Ontario, welcomed over 40 partners from across Canada for the first in-person Legend Boats Partner Conference since 2019. The event kicked off Monday, September 26, with a night welcome cocktail address inviting partners to catch up, mingle and discuss industry trends.

The opening day, Tuesday, September 27, featured breakout sessions covering a variety of topics as well as presentations from Jesse Davis, Director of National Sales, and Legend Boats’ CEO’s Marc Duhamel and Jamie Dewar.

The Legend Boats Partner Conference heard presentations from valued industry partners such as Antoine Lejeunee, Commercial Leader, Dealer Relationships, Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), and Jonathan Levine, General Manager of Mercury Marine Canada. After a full day of presentations, breakout sessions and learning, everyone was treated to an outstanding BBQ, campfires, entertainment and fireworks.

Wednesday, September 28, was dedicated to the theme of customer experience development and how to improve the overall experience. They welcomed keynote speakers Marc Gordon, Branding, Marketing and Customer Experience Expert, and Katie Maries, Marketing, Branding and Customer Service Expert, who led workshops dedicated to the customer experience and the touchpoints our boaters go through in their journey to ownership and after sales service.

The day’s events were followed with the Legend Gala, held at Science North, where partners enjoyed food and entertainment and celebrated key milestones. The Legend Boats team had the honour of presenting Les Sparks of Mercury Marine with the prestigious Legend Icon award. In addition, Orléans Boat World and Sports was awarded Partner of the Year, and several Partners were congratulated for Years of Partnerships recognizing 5, 10, 15, 20 and even two 25 years as a Legend Boats Partner.

“This event was much needed! After years of not having the opportunity to welcome our Partners to the Legend campus, it was amazing to finally get reacquainted. The energy in the building could be felt the entire time” said Jesse Davis, Director of National Sales.

The Legend Boats Partner Conference was action packed focusing on educating Partners on Legend Boats and the industry as an entirety. During the events Legend Boats launched their all new “Fun” pontoon series which consists of 16’ – 20‘ two tubes pontoon models aimed toward entry level price points, offering a ton of value and not compromising on style! Additionally, the all new R15 and R15 SC riveted models were introduced to our Partners along with several new pontoon floor-plans.

After listening to Legend Boats Partners and customers, two Ultimate models were introduced. The iconic 18 XTR Ultimate will be loaded with all the features customers could dream of. Taking that same concept Legend Boats applied that to the all-new 20 Fun series pontoon being this package in standard with mooring cover, trailer, and GPS. Both of these models are designed to make it easier for Partners to buy for their customers, while offering large exclusive savings at the same time.

“The event went over extremely well! In knowing the majority of our Partners were in attendance, we really wanted to focus on educating our network on not only what’s happening in the world of Legend, but also our industry, and how we can all elevate our customer experience interactions.” said Marc Duhamel, CEO and President of Legend Boats.

Legend could not have pulled off this event without our friends and sponsors such as our Platinum Sponsors, Mercury Marine, Wells Fargo, First Canadian and Convertex.
