LONGER HOURS, MORE BUSINESS; METS 2014 OPENS ITS DOORS EARLIER

METS

Amsterdam RAI has announced that this year’s edition of METS, the world’s leading B2B marine equipment trade show, will be open for business even longer. METS 2014 will be held from 18 to 20 November in Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre.

The 2013 edition of METS saw the doors open at 09:00 on the Wednesday of this three-day event for the first time in its distinguished history. Now the organisers of METS at Amsterdam RAI have decided to also start the day at 9:00 on the Thursday at METS 2014.

“We took this decision during a meeting with the exhibition committee,” explains Amsterdam RAI’s maritime domain manager Irene Dros.“It reflects the feedback from visitors who wish to spend even more time at the show, such is its productive nature. As the evenings are filled up with networking activities like the METS Canal Cruise and various exhibitor receptions, the morning offers the best opportunity for an extension. And, of course, when visitors spend more time on the exhibition floor this gives exhibitors the opportunity to increase their ROI".
