MARINE PRODUCTS DEBUT AT FT LAUDERDALE INTL BOAT SHOW

FLIBS 2013

Taking place from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the world's largest showcase of the newest marine products and latest innovations from the worldwide boating industry.
 
With more than 1,000 boats on display across more than three million square feet of exhibit space, in the water and on land, and with more than 1,000 exhibitors presenting  $3 billion worth of goods and services, companies leverage the show's global reach to introduce their newest designs and innovations.

Numerous new boats and yachts will be on display along with new marine electronics, onboard power systems, clothing and accessories. Look to Boating Industry Canada's November 5th edition of Newsweek for more show news!

Duncan Peacock, resident of Kitimat BC and member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63, has been awarded the 12th annual Tim Jones Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Outdoor Community in British Columbia.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.

Initially created in partnership with the UK Sea Cadets to replace their aging fleet, designer Jo Richards and the RS Sailing development team wanted to make sure the RS Quest was built to break the mould.
