Josie Tucci - MarineMax

MarineMax, Inc., has announced the appointment of Josie Tucci to the role of Vice President of Marketing.  Tucci joined MarineMax in August 2012, and quickly built a talented team to deliver marketing support for MarineMax’s national retail network of 50 plus stores and diverse business units.

Tucci started her marketing career in the marine industry over 15 years ago, working for a well-known European boat builder in France. Moving to the USA in 2001, Tucci established a global yacht sales marketing network and went on to expand and develop distribution channels across North and South America for the leading yacht charter brands in the world.

“Brand management, direct marketing and business development are Tucci’s areas of expertise. We are very pleased to have her on the senior management team, where her energy and spark will help us shape our business, for the mutual benefit of the brands we represent, our team members and our shareholders,” commented Lex Raas, President of Marketing, Charter and Special Initiatives.

All the elements of MarineMax marketing will now fall under Tucci’s direct leadership. These include the eCommerce team, led by Filip Fontaine, Web & eCommerce Director, who is responsible for the design, development and launch of the new website marinemax.com.  “We look forward to keeping ahead of the curve and making sure MarineMax is an online leader in the marine industry,” commented Tucci.

“We know the power that boating has to change lives.  We are dedicated to uniting our stores, our boat brands and our customers to deliver the most enriching boating experiences on the water.  Whether through our exceptional retail locations, marinas and nationwide service network, or through our complimentary boating classes and fun Getaways!®, we empower our customers to live the boating dream,”  added Tucci.

MarineMax’s philosophy is to offer customers unparalleled resources to connect with people and places on the water, with exclusive social and learning events from Owners' Getaways!® to Women on Water® and Kids in Boating classes.
