Dehler is one of the most traditional sailing yacht brands and has always been associated with the Dehler family. After Willi Dehler founded the shipyard, he soon integrated his son Karl Dehler “Kalle” into the company’s processes and strongly involved him in the development of the legendary regatta yacht “Dehler 34”. Now it is Kalle, who supports his son Thomas Dehler in offshore regattas. With obvious success. Thomas Dehler has proven his skills and scored 4th at the Warnemünder Woche as the youngest skipper with the Dehler 38c “Sporthotel” from his father. At his first European Championship in Danzig, Thomas Dehler showed endurance and made the 8th place, with difficult light wind conditions and the smallest yacht in the field.

The parents have the right to be proud of Thomas and his sister Rebecca Dehler. She recently took the challenge of sailing the famous single handed regatta “Silverrudder” around Funen with a Varianta 18.
