MERCURY ANNOUNCES NEW 5-YEAR PROTECTION PROMOTION

Mercury Marine, the world leader in marine propulsion, is pleased to announce a new five-year protection program which includes two years of free Mercury® Product Protection Gold in addition to the three years standard limited warranty on all new Mercury Outboards.

“We are excited to offer this added protection to kick off the 2017 boat show season,” said Ross Stewart, senior director of sales at Mercury Marine. “We are confident that this opportunity will draw a lot of excitement throughout the first three months of the new year.”

This new promotion, which runs from January 1, 2017 until March 31, 2017, will allow consumers to take advantage of two additional years of protection on their Mercury Outboard engine.

“Buying a new engine is exciting,” said Stewart.  “We want to make sure the boater is not only proud of their new Mercury outboard, but also knows that we stand behind our product, and this opportunity gives boaters the confidence that they are buying a world-class outboard with a fantastic protection program.”

Exclusions: All Pacemaker, Mercury Racing, Government, previously registered engines, donations, as well as engines sold for commercial, camp or resort applications, waterski engines and sales/registrations outside the United States and Canada. Also excludes any non-U.S. or non-Canada resident, or address outside of the U.S. or Canada. Two Stroke and Sport Jet engines are excluded from this promotion as well. Any units with a manufacture date prior to 2010 are not eligible. *US MSRP value of 2-year Mercury Product Protection extended service contract for a Mercury OptiMax 250 hp Pro XS. Pricing may vary in Canada.
