NAUTIC-ON SMART BOATING PLATFORM WINS 2019 BOATING INDUSTRY TOP PRODUCT AWARD

Nautic-On Award

May 5, 2019

NAUTIC-ON has been selected as a 2019 Boating Industry Top Product winner for its Smart Boating Platform.  The award recognizes the most innovative products introduced to the marine industry over the past year. NAUTIC-ON’s Smart Boating Platform goes beyond boat monitoring, providing a connected platform designed to improve the boating experience by delivering benefits to both boat owners and service providers.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from a leading marine industry publication as we begin to rollout our product with several elite boat brands,” said Adam Schanfield, NAUTIC-ON, general manager. “In 2018, we launched our brand and platform, and we are continually looking for unique ways to enhance our product and ultimately drive the industry forward with innovative solutions.”

NAUTIC-ON will be a standard feature on 2020 Boston Whaler Models 25’ up and on all Sea Ray 2020 Sundancer and SLX models 25’ and above.

“Connectivity is evolving and the consumer experience is at the center of it all.  This award tells us that we are on the right track to providing the consumer exactly what they want, whenever they want it”, said Lou Sandoval, NAUTIC-ON, national director of business development.  “NAUTIC-ON gives boaters the ability to share diagnostic information with a qualified marine service provider, which in turn allows service providers to work smarter not harder. Our product’s features were developed using a customer centric and iterative process to ensure the product provides a user-friendly experience while delivering efficiencies and convenience.”

Last year, NAUTIC-ON released its onboard system, boater mobile application, and dealer portal. Recently, NAUTIC-ON extended the functionality of its mobile app and service provider portal with the release of the BoatIQTM suite of features.

BoatIQTM Smart Share in the mobile app helps the boater save and convey media-rich details about issues as they occur. Smart Share messages help the dealer organize communications from the boater and log a history of information even for issues a sensor cannot capture.

The BoatIQ Diagnostic Intelligence Dashboard extends the service portal and provides another tool for service writers and technicians to help their customers get back on the water faster. It provides the right data at the right time through the portal to more accurately remotely diagnose issues on boats.
