The 2018 Vancouver International Boat Show, Western Canada’s largestBoat Show, will see a number of exciting model debuts and unveils for the first time in Canada.
With over 250 exhibitors all bringing their latest showcase products and models, visitors will bethe first in the country to get a first-hand glimpse of what the coming boating season has tooffer.

2018 Regal 42 Grand Coupe
Coming to Canada for the first time, Rayburns Marine and Martin Motor Sports from Kelownawill be bringing the 2018 Regal 42 Grand Coupe to the Vancouver Show. Boasting the largestaft stateroom in its class, the Regal 42 Grande Coupe was designed to escalate what it meansto indulge in ultimate entertainment and relaxation. A boat that was crafted to be lighter andstronger, the Regal 42 Grande Coupe aims to set a strong tone for boating excellence.

Prestige 750
In another Canadian first, Sundance Yacht Sales & Marinas is bringing the 2018 Prestige 750 to the Vancouver Show. This 75-foot motor yacht upends traditional design and offers sumptuousliving spaces. The Prestige 750 also offers a vast cockpit, an impressive terrace on the flybridgeand the forward owner’s cabin offers private access to its intimate quarters.Whether on openwaters or at anchor the Prestige 750 offers unprecedented comfort and style.

Sea Ray L650 Fly

170 Montauk & 150 Montauk
The Vancouver Boat Show will be the Debut Boat Show for these two newly redesigned models.
Boston Whaler’s new 150 Montauk reflects 60 years of heritage, combining time-tested utilityand classic lines with modern comfort, design and technology. Incredibly easy to operate, easyto clean, and easy to love, the 150 Montauk excels for both fishing and watersports. The 170Montauk is the iconic class Boston Whaler. Bayliner VR4
Debuting at the Vancouver International Boat Show is the all-new model for 2018. Nimble insize, the VR4 is easy to tow, launch and store – and also really fun to use. The smallest VRSeries model delivers plenty of interior space for people and gear.

North River 29 Pilot House
Port Boat House will show for the first time, the all new North River 29 Pilot House. The NorthRiver 29 Pilot house offers a large cockpit and full walk around the 9’ cabin with a hull designedfor the serious offshore fisherman. Featuring the largest bottom width and deepest V in its classproviding for a stable and efficient ride in the toughest conditions, this model is also packagedwith twin Yamaha F309 outboards, forward and aft Simrad GPS/Sounder combinations, radar,autopilot, and thru hull one Kilowatt transducer.

Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1095
Only recently announced at the Paris Boat Show, Milltown Yacht Sales will be bringing the newMerry Fisher 1095 to Vancouver for the first time. Taking full advantage of the new world ofoutboard engines, the Merry Fisher 1095 does the impossible, being one of the only boats over10 metres to boast an outboard engine. In addition to this major innovation, the Merry Fisher 1095 features three staterooms for the ultimate adventure at sea.

Princess 68
A breathtakingly beautiful craft, the Princess 68’s spacious flybridge includes a large sunpad, twin helm and a wetbar for on-hand refreshment. Coming to the Floating Show at GranvilleIsland through Freedom Marine, the Princess 68 promises to be the most technically advancedand spacious flybridge yacht in her class.
Also coming to this year’s Boat Show for the first time are Chris Craft Boats and Sunseeker. TheChris Craft brand has had a long history of beautifully crafted boats from 21’ to 44’. The VP ofSunseeker USA, a brand widely recognized as the pre-ˇeminent luxury marine brand in the worldtoday and Britain’s largest boat builder, will be offering presentations on all their latest products.

The 2024 Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, held by the National Marine Electronics Association, (NMEA) took place September 16 to the 20th in Providence, Rhode Island. Boating Industry Canada was there for the first time and we were very impressed with what we found.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
