NEW OWNERSHIP FOR FIVE ONTARIO MARINAS

Ontario Marina

Dec 5, 2017

Winds of change are sweeping through the recreational boating industry in Ontario with the purchase of five major marinas in Central Ontario, effective December 1.

Maple Leaf Marinas is a Canadian owned company created with the sole purpose of operating the finest marinas on the Great Lakes.

Individually unique, our five marinas – Bay Port Yachting Centre, Wye Heritage Marina, Beacon Bay Marina, Bay Moorings Marina and Bridge Port Marina – will operate as independent facilities, with a personalized hands on approach.

At the helm is Ken MacDonald who brings 35 years of Marina Management knowledge and experience to the general manager position.

Passionate about every aspect of the industry MacDonald said, “This is an outstanding opportunity to develop the long term growth of recreational boating.”

He points to superior service, a commitment to customers, investment in staff training and attention to all the small details as hallmarks of success. “I am passionately motivated by the challenge we have to re-establish our marinas as innovative, industry-leading facilities that set the standard for all marinas in Ontario and beyond.”

Our professional on-site managers will deliver personalized exemplary customer service every day. MacDonald said, “Our boaters’ loyalty will be recognized with social events and incentive programs such as fuel discounts and free nights dockage within our marina group.”

MacDonald invites everyone to meet the managers at the Toronto International Boat Show January 12 to 21, 2018.

For details on the acquisition and the future ahead call Ken MacDonald at 705-529-6099.
