ORILLIA SPRING BOAT, COTTAGE AND OUTDOOR SHOW JUNE 12-14

From June 12 to 14, 2015 the Port of Orillia is offering a fantastic assortment of new, private and dealer pre-owned boats and great products.  

The Port of Orillia location offers excellent display areas for both land and water exhibits. It is situated in a parkland area at the base of the downtown and offers ample free parking with easy access by land or water. It is the largest transient marine on the Trent Canal System with over 220 full service slips. There are excellent in-water and land areas to demonstrate and display products.

The first event is the Spring Boat, Cottage & Outdoor Show which takes place June 12 to 14, 2015.

The second is the Orillia Waterfront Festival which takes place August 7 to 9, 2015.

The spring show started as a Used Boat Show in 1989 in an effort to offer the huge number of pre owned boats in dealer inventories a public selling venue. Even privately owned boats were offer space in an effort to keep the product selection high and sales diversified. The time of year was geared to move inventory at the start of the boating season. As the years progressed so did the show’s focus. Accessories to the industry plus other recreational, sporting and lifestyle products evolved the show into a “jump start event” for the summer retailing season. Last year’s show had Discover Boating return with the format of taking potential boaters out on a selection of boats. Yamaha reported back that this show out did all other shows combined for response.  Attendance 6 to 8 thousand depending on weather.
