The agreement allows Sceptre the territorial, exclusive rights, to market and distribute the Aquila line of Power Catamarans to Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alaska. By extension, Cooper shall continue to pioneer instructional programs and offer charters for these fabulous new vessels. The Quebec Marine Association (QMA) invites boating enthusiasts on February 5th-8th, 2015 at the 16th edition of the Montreal Boats and Water Sports’ Show. This year is once again marked by a most festive atmosphere, with an event that is expected to be more impressive in all aspects. The figures are enough to make your head spin: 275 exhibitors, more than 450 boats spread over an exhibition area of over 275,000 square feet which is 17 times the Bell Centre ice.
Poralu Marine has been selected by Edgewater Resources to design, manufacture the aluminum docks and fingers for their new first class marina at Brooklyn Bridge Park which will directly connect the City of Brooklyn to the water. The marina is seamlessly integrated into the surrounding landscape with both challenges of the updated hurricane water surge levels and subway tunnel interference being resolved by utilizing Seaflex anchoring technology. In order to offer a good protection from the waves mainly caused by the ferry traffic a floating concrete breakwater engineered and manufactured by Marinetek will be installed on the outside perimeter.
The newly minted Heart of Georgian Bay brand was unveiled on Jan 22, 2105 at a presentation at the Midland Cultural Centre in Midland, Ontario. Mayors and representatives from all four areas of Southern Georgian Bay, Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny were on hand to proudly introduce their new brand, all speaking with one voice.
Four day Corrosion Certification course hosted by Port Credit Yacht Club, with instructor Kevin Ritz is designed and intended for those with a minimum of 3-5 years practical experience in the marine field. It is highly recommended that certification candidates already have ABYC electrical certification before attempting the corrosion certification program.
