Marine Products Corp., manufacturers of Chaparral, Robalo and Vortex boats announced their Q4 financial results on January 27th. For the quarter ended December 31, 2020, Marine Products generated net sales of $71,110,000, a 47.6 percent increase compared to $48,175,000 in the same period of the prior year.

This past week was the first-ever Virtual Toronto International Boat Show and you can read the report of the results in the story below. It was a major undertaking for the staff and suppliers at Canadian Boat Shows to create a seven-day program of seminars, videos and on-screen boat displays, but they did it.
The Maritime Museum of BC is running a fundraising campaign called “Float the Boat”. This campaign has a goal of $25,000 and will run from January 15, 2021 to March 31, 2021. Throughout the campaign the museum will be marking milestones by filling the tank below with water to float the boat higher and higher. We’ll be posting updates so make sure to follow along!

Big news this week! The Virtual Toronto International Boat Show is open all this week and we just learned that the NMMA and Informa Markets will bring the Miami International Boat Show together with the Miami Yacht Show starting in 2022. They will be moving back to South Beach and other great locations in Miami, and all of it will be under the Miami International Boat Show name in February 2022.
