With a hint of spring in the air, the 2017 edition of New Brunswick’s largest boat show welcomed a massive crowd of boaters eager to kick off the new season shopping for boats, gear and equipment for all their favourite outdoor activities.

The Moncton Boat Show took place this past weekend, March 31st through April 2nd, at the Moncton Coliseum Complex. The New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show and Dieppe Fly Fishing Forum were co-located at the same venue and just over 10,000 combined visitors were in attendance over the three days of the event.

“This is the third year in a row that we’ve set records with the show’s attendance,” said Show Manager Scott Sprague. “The numbers have been consistently up and we’re happy to see solid crowds and people shopping and taking in everything these events have to offer.”

Thank you to the show’s featured dealers: Seamasters Marine Services, Cabano Marine, Iron Wind Marine, Tracker Boats, Hi-Tech Powersports, Atlantic Motoplex, Antigonish Rent All, White Water Marine, Bass Pro Shops, Quartermaster Marine, Patterson Sales & Service, Torque Motorsports, and Cobequid Mountain Sports.

According to exhibitors, both the quantity and the quality of show visitors made this year’s show a success:

“Thanks to the great weather and large crowds this year, the Quartermaster team had a fantastic show. Big thank you to Master Promotions for a great show!” said Jason Craig, Quartermaster Marine.

“The 2017 Moncton Boat Show was a pleasant surprise for The Binnacle. The customers were well educated, and prepared to buy with strong sales increases felt.” said Chris Shaw, The Binnacle.

Congratulations to the winner of the show’s door prize, Francesca Wallace. Francesca has won a Rave Sports “Stoked” Two Ryder Towable, courtesy of Stright-MacKay.

The Moncton Boat Show will return in the spring of 2018. Stay tuned to www.MonctonBoatShow.ca and follow the show on Facebook and Twitter to stay up-to-date.
