Ritchie Navigation, the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of magnetic compasses, has signed French VDM-Reya as its newest distributor. Jon Sherman, Ritchie president, made the announcement.

In 2017, Vidal Diffusion Marine and REYA SAS merged to become VDM-Reya, one of France’s leading marine distributors. Representing over 200 brands, the company offers a complete selection of major and minor boat parts and accessories and boatbuilding supplies. Its website is www.vdm-reya.com.

“We’re pleased to be working with VDM-Reya,” said Sherman. “They’re known throughout their region for on-time delivery and exceptional customer service.” Ritchie Navigation will continue its longstanding relationship with Marseille, France-based PROXAM Distribution Marine.

For over 160 years, Ritchie Navigation has guided generations of professional mariners and recreational boaters over every conceivable waterway. Its compasses are made in the USA and renowned for their superior accuracy, failproof reliability and long-lasting durability.
