Scholarships are available for the maritime industry’s best and brightest young professionals to attend the World Maritime Technology Conference (WMTC) 2015, November 3-7, 2015, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island, USA.

SNAME’s annual meeting and expo, the SNAME Maritime Convention (SMC), is incorporated with the triennial WMTC.

SNAME’s Young Professionals Committee has become a leader in providing content and programming geared toward new engineers, technologists and managers in the maritime field and the Young Professionals program for WMTC 2015 is the strongest ever. In addition to networking events and an extensive technical program, the highlight of this year’s conference for YPs will be a unique professional development opportunity – the Maritime Leadership Panel. The panel will feature some of the maritime industry’s most recognizable leaders, who will discuss how they got to be leaders and the critical skills today’s YPs need to get there.
