The tradeoff for smooth water behind wakeboard boats is often reduced maneuverability of the craft. With the new Sideshift WB230 stern thruster comes a revolutionary concept: boat control equal to a stern drive, with no wake interference. This new stern thruster affords unparalleled maneuverability around docks and trailers. It also enables drivers to quickly move the back of the boat to pick up dropped wakeboarders. Owners save gas and time, as they no longer have to circle back around into position.

Traditional wakeboard inboard propulsion systems with their large prop and small rudder can be challenging to operate, especially for those accustomed to stern drives. The Sideshift WB230 changes this. A powerful water-cooled 12V motor delivers a long run time, while the heavy-duty 8" aluminum propeller affords smooth, quiet operation. Because the WB230 thruster rises out of the water when the boat planes, it creates no drag. Anode-protected and finished with anti-fouling paint over epoxy primer, the unit is corrosion-resistant.
