STUDY SHOWS SIGNIFICANT ROI FOR MYTASKIT PRO

My Taskit

May 8, 2017

A recent study by the independent research firm Marine Business Advisors concludes that the Coordination module of MyTaskit Pro provides a significant ROI: 15 times its cost in the first month. The integrated task coordination and business management platform launched in 2016.

The research was conducted in late 2016 at Falmouth, Massachusetts-based MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Services. Offering repair, refinishing and rigging services, it’s a full-service, 120 slip marina with a 75-ton Marine Travelift.

MacDougalls’ used MyTaskit Pro’s Operations module prior to the study, but relied on paper printouts such as work orders, time sheets and job cards for service work assigned to its 27 technicians. This resulted in lost billings and time, and loss of information and coordination.

The study demonstrates that once MacDougalls’ began using MyTaskit Pro’s Coordination Module, billing time was reduced by 44%. Cash flow and operational efficiencies improved significantly.

Productivity also increased. An astounding 50% of time savings was realized in information-gathering alone by using the Coordination module. Unauthorized overtime and time spent communicating internally was reduced by 50%, and the business realized an 80-minute per day reduction in administrative hours.

Additionally, the use of MyTaskit Pro contributed to other intangible returns, such as improved employee satisfaction and overall positivity. The study results can be downloaded at www.mytaskit.com/ROI.
“Implementation of the Coordination module decreased the time to close our month by reducing the time to finalize billing by an average of eight days,” said Terri Cardosi, MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Services comptroller. “This allows our company to better track our financial position and make changes as necessary.”

MyTaskit provides a comprehensive software platform for coordinating tasks within companies and between multiple businesses and their customers. Its software allows service professionals to perform work more efficiently, gives companies a way to increase profitability and better measure customer satisfaction, and it provides customers a better experience, with faster, more transparent service work for their high-value assets.
