SUCCESS BEYOND THE BOUNDARIES OF EUROPE – THE HANSE 575 IS CROWNED “BOAT OF THE YEAR” IN CHINA

The winner of the "Asian Marine & Boating Awards 2014" was announced last weekend at the "China (Shanghai) International Boat Show 2014".

And HanseYachts AG from Greifswald made its mark on the international stage when the Hanse 575 came first in the "Best Sailing Yacht +45 ft" category.

Comfort and safety without compromising on optimal performance, combined with functionality and innovative design-that is the core competency of the Hanse 575. The cruising yacht with a length of 17.15 meters has already impressed with record-breaking sales figures since its market launch and wears the title of market leader in the 50 – 60 ft class with pride.

The Chinese jury were impressed: One of the reasons cited was the good balance between speed and handling. One distinct advantage is that the Hanse 575 fulfills the standards of the Easy Sailing concept set by Hanse itself optimally. Thanks to the clever halyard, sheet and reef line guidance, the yacht is suitable for single-handed sailing without restrictions. The large dinghy garage, which can carry a Williams Jet Tender in longitudinal position, for example, is another special feature of the model. The interior design is characterised by intelligent distribution, which fulfills both the demand for comfort and sensible use. "The balance between aesthetics and functional design has been implemented optimally. A light and airy living space has been created, which matches the
size of the boat perfectly", was a stated reason behind the decision.

The entire HanseYachts team is delighted with this distinction and would like to take this opportunity to thank the jury. "The award is even more significant for us because it was clear from the reasons provided by the jury that our innovative concepts were a key factor in the Hanse 575 being chosen as the winner. This shows that we are on the right path with our creative and bold ideas", states Dr. Jens Gerhardt, CEO of HanseYachts AG.
