Oct 2nd, 2018

The 2019 model year was rung in by a great evening as awards were presented to the top dealerships and their representatives from around the world. It was another night to remember for Canada’s The Boat Warehouse after receiving multiple awards ranging across multiple brands. Glastron was honored to present The Boat Warehouse with the prestigious Large, Cambridge Lighthouse award for being the largest volume dealer with multiple locations. In addition, The Boat Warehouse also was awarded a second Cambridge Lighthouse from Scarab as they displayed the largest year-over-year growth in sales for the brand.

“We are very proud to congratulate The Boat Warehouse with these awards as they have continued to demonstrate their strength as our brands’ partner. Their commitment to service and sales has proven that they value the customer and their needs on the water,” stated Andy Lindsay, V.P. Sales Americas.

Dave Mayhew, President at The Boat Warehouse, accepted the award, “The Boat Warehouse and the Groupe Beneteau brands continue to be a successful and strong partnership. Since Glastron joined our dealership, it has grown each year—and I expect that to continue. We developed a plan for Scarab to grow last year and executed it well. We’re excited about the future with Groupe Beneteau and look forward to next year.”

The Boat Warehouse serves all of the greater Toronto, Ottawa, Barrie and Peterborough areas with three locations: Kingston, ON; Coldwater, ON; and Uxbridge, ON. Each facility features a state-of-the-art showroom, parts and service center, and financial department.

Throughout the entirety of the Groupe Beneteau Dealer Meeting, September 7–9, 2018, over 345 representatives from 156 dealerships around the world were in attendance along with representatives from Four Winns, Scarab, Glastron, and Wellcraft.

Every brand would like to thank each dealership in attendance for being a part of our dealer network, along with providing valuable input on new product development and sales for the organization.
