Oct 2nd, 2018

At the Newport International Boat Show, Beneteau celebrated the awards received for the new Figaro Beneteau 3. This is the largest boat show in New England and the ‘kick-off’ to the fall show season. Visitors came from around the world to see the latest boats and product offerings debuting for the first time in the United States.

The show’s annual Newport for New Products (NFNP) Awards Program features an innovative line-up of new boats and products making their U.S. or world premiere. NFNP winners were announced on Friday morning in the categories of:

• Best New Sailboat honored: the new Figaro Beneteau 3
• Best Sailboat under 35 feet honored: the new Figaro Beneteau 3

“We are very proud to receive this award. The Figaro Beneteau 3 is an incredible yacht. For her first race, she won the Pacific Cup this summer. She has just been launched and two Figaro Beneteau 3 are already in the USA, one in California and one in Maryland. No doubt the fleet will grow quickly, as we have seen a lot of interest from key journalists and potential clients who tested her last week.” said Jean-Francois Lair, Director of Sales.
