WEEMS AND PLATH LAUNCHES REDESIGNED WEBSITE

Weems Plath New Site

May 30, 2016

Weems and Plath has announced the launch of a new, redesigned version of its website. The goals for this redesign were to improve user navigation and to provide consumers with superior online content, including how-to videos and detailed information for over 400 products. The site’s refreshed and updated look — combined with its enhanced content, improved search functionality, and optimization for mobile devices — will allow consumers to better interact with Weems and Plath online.

The site features a bold new layout with responsive web design, giving users an optimal viewing and interaction experience that can be enjoyed across all platforms. Whether browsing on a desktop computer or scrolling through a mobile phone, users can rest assured that the website looks great in any size.

The site also features a more engaging user experience, including upgraded search tools and a color scheme that is colorblind friendly.

Other enhancements include scrolling images, tutorial videos, a product customization option, a store locator map, social media integration and online product registration.

All users have the ability to download instruction manuals and price lists, order parts for lamps, and request custom engraving. Returning customers can access order history, real time shipping cost calculations and improved order tracking.

“We are excited to offer a great online experience to our customers, ensuring all their needs are easily met,” says Peter Trogdon, Weems and Plath President.
