XANATOS MARINE WINS BEST INTERNATIONAL TRADE BY SMALL BUSINESS BC

At the Small Business BC Awards last week, Xanatos Marine, a North Vancouver based company providing maritime security and monitoring systems assisting authorities secure their waterways from illegal activity and environmental disasters as well as provide safety for their citizens, was awarded Best International Trade.
 
The 11th Annual Small Business BC Awards were held on February 27th, 2014. “The competition was fierce and the winners had to prove their excellence among a group of 417 nominated businesses in nine different award categories. The winners were selected after at the conclusion of an intense five-month process that involved online voting, applications and live pitches to a judging panel.” – SBBC
 
The majority of Xanatos Marine’s sales are on the international stage providing solutions in the maritime field to governments of Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Nigeria, Mexico, USA, and the World Bank as well as private organizations within those countries.
 
Recently, Xanatos Marine has been recognized as one of BC’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies by Business in Vancouver, was given ‘honorable mention’ by the 2013 BC Export Awards, and was the recipient of Innovator of the Year by the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.
