Halifax International Boat Show Postponed
Boating Atlantic and Master Promotions Ltd. are announcing the postponement of the Halifax International Boat Show, which was scheduled for March 3-6, 2022. The next edition of the Halifax International Boat Show will now take place in February 2023.

ABYC sets new dates for Marine Law Symposium and Annual Meeting
The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) has confirmed new dates for the 2022 Marine Law Symposium and ABYC’s annual meeting, following a postponement due to mounting public health concerns. ABYC’s annual meeting will be held virtually Feb. 8, 2022, and the Marine Law Symposium will take place April 6 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Exciting changes at Newport Exhibition Group
Newport Exhibition Group, owners and producers of the Newport International Boat Show (NIBS), announced that after leading the Show for over two decades, Nancy Piffard, show director, is retiring. Desiring a continuity of leadership, Lisa Knowles, who has been the Show’s senior sales manager, has been promoted to replace Piffard.

Following the meeting of the Minister Presidents of the federal states on the pandemic situation on 21 December 2021, North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) banned the holding of large events with spectators in January.
