Quadrant Marine Institute – new training opportunities

Quadrant Training Opportunities

Oct 31, 2023

We love training people, and we love providing training opportunities! This Autumn is one of the busiest seasons ever at Quadrant with our whole team dedicated to Marine Service Excellence in three different cities, and there are seats available for all levels of your team.

For the first time in Vancouver we’re offering up Fire Extinguisher training with a live-fire test, and Occupational First Aid – Level 1. Both of these courses are being offered at a discounted rate, and space is limited…

This year’s Marine Service Manager course, starting on November 3rd at the Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club, has one spot still available. This course is a great opportunity to strengthen the leadership on your team, with practical and industry specific material.

For more details on all of these courses please visit the continuing education page of our website!

In Nanaimo, our Marine Service Technician apprenticeship program has three seats remaining for those ready to become a recognized Journey-Person MST. Unlike our other locations, the North Island MST program is run entirely as in-person training. Classes start November 20th, so register while you still can!

And finally – registration is now open for our winter Pre-Employment Program in Sidney, starting January 22nd. We’re very proud of this unique program, introducing 20 new faces into the world of Marine Service. If you know someone who may be interested, send them our way!
