What are people saying about the program…
"It has been our pleasure to take part in the BICEOC program. From our experience, the program has been very valuable as it gives us an honest, unbiased report as to what our staff are feeling. The report gives us the opportunity to learn, grow and nurture our team through anonymous feedback from them. We’ve been honoured to win the Employer of Choice Award six times and truthfully feel each year we are able to improve over the previous year with the help of the program. Thank you."

To encourage more participation from institutions that may not have naval architecture or boat construction expertise, the YCM introduced the Energy Class competition. The club supplies the student teams with the same one-design catamaran hull, and each team adds their own cockpit and propulsion system that can be powered by any renewable alternative energy sources, not just solar.
