Employer of ChoiceOn Tuesday, January 21st at the NMMA Canada Recreational Boating Industry Breakfast at the 2020 Toronto International Boat Show, Boating Industry Canada News Week announced the winners of the 2019 Employer of Choice awards.

While many businesses participated in the program during 2019, there were four businesses that achieved award winning levels. We send our congratulations to:
M&P Mercury - Dealers/Marine
Gibbons Motor Toys - Dealers/Marine
Princecraft - Marine Business
Desmasdon’s Boatworks - Dealers/Marine

Although not present at the January 21 event, we congratulate M&P Mercury of Burnaby, B.C. in the Dealers/Marine category and Gibbons Motor Toys of Gibbons, Alberta in the Dealers/Marine category. M&P Mercury has been an award winner for three years now and Gibbons Motor Toys of Gibbons, Alberta has just joined the program in 2019.

The Employer of Choice program is a business management tool that is available to marine industry businesses and there is no cost for qualified businesses to participate and gain the benefit of the resources. The costs only apply to purchasing the detailed reports if a participating business elects to do so.

CONSUMER CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED FOR TORONTO INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW VIRTUAL

We Are Virtual!The organizers of the Toronto international Boat Show (TIBS) have launched their consumer marketing campaign to potential attendees.

"As we bring in the New Year, the TIBS Virtual Show marketing campaign is well underway with over 70,000 members of the Captain's Club receiving the consumer newsletter, providing great content on the upcoming show!” As communicated in the Exhibitor newsletter, Social Media audiences are making up another 30,000 followers and that they are ‘liking’ and sharing posts about the Virtual Show!
