Patrick Hardy, of BCI Marine, has announced the launch of this strategic player, whose goal is to better serve pleasure boat dealers across the country.

Mr. Hardy formed the new company following the acquisition of the assets of BCI Distribution, which was formerly part of Aqua Services, in order to contribute to the growth of both dealers and the broader marine industry.

Patrick Hardy“I have always been a boat lover, I own a boat and have been a captain for more than 20 years,” said Hardy. “I come from a family of entrepreneurs and I am always on the lookout for new nautical trends. After pursuing a career in technology marketing and communications, I wanted to use this experience to benefit the industry I love.”

BCI Marine intends to make significant investments in management technologies to bring added value to dealers in its network, following the integration of BCI Distribution’s assets. For example, the company will develop a tool that will make it easier to search for specifications and to customize art boats.

BCI Marine also sees itself as an ideal marketing partner. Hardy wants to leverage his communications and technology expertise to support dealers in promoting the brands they distribute. The BCI Marine team, which is constantly on the lookout for new trends, will leverage that experience to guide and to develop clear and consistent strategies to help foster customer development and loyalty.

The company has also announced André Robitaille, as National Sales Manager. Robitaille, who was formerly with BCI Distribution was a key player in ensuring continuity during the transition phase.
