BOATING, FISHING, HUNTING AND MORE: THREE EVENTS TAKE OVER THE MONCTON COLISEUM MARCH 29 TO 31

Moncton Boat Show

Mar 26, 2019

The region’s largest fishing, hunting and outdoors events are returning to the Moncton Coliseum this March 29 to 31: the New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show, Moncton Boat Show, and the Dieppe Fly Fishing Forum. Expected to attract thousands of visitors from across New Brunswick and the Maritimes, attendees will get the chance to experience the latest in boating, fishing, hunting, and the best of the region’s outdoor adventures.

“This unique lineup of shows brings together some of the Maritimes’ most popular past-times all under one roof,” says Scott Sprague, Event Manager. “Whether someone is on the market for their next watercraft, or they’re looking to build on their fishing and hunting skills, this is the place to get geared up for the seasons ahead.”

The Moncton Boat Show will highlight the region’s top dealers and the latest models of power boats, pontoons, personal watercraft and more. Right next door, the New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show and Dieppe Fly Fishing Forum will showcase the best in fishing, hunting and the outdoors.

NEW THIS YEAR: B1 Fishing Events in conjunction with the New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show are excited to be bringing two of Canada’s most celebrated bass anglers to the Bass Pro Shops main stage during the New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show:

David Chong is one of the most recognized anglers in Canada at this time, and a highly respected ambassador for the sport. David’s seminars have been a key to the growth and success of many anglers currently competing at high levels across the Canadian tournament scene.

Joe Ford is not only a respected and successful tournament angler, but also an accomplished speaker and fishing guide. His experience competing for Team Canada and at other major events, along with his extensive time teaching and guiding less experienced anglers gives him an in-depth knowledge of bass fishing on multiple levels.

“It’s been endless hours of work to get to this point,” says B1 East Coast Series Tournament Director, Donald Paterson. “We are really excited to be bringing two of Canada’s best to New Brunswick. There is no possible way you will be able to sit through one of their seminars without picking up some information that will make you a better angler”.

Additional features planned for the weekend:
• Onsite at the Moncton Boat Show, Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) testing with Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons
• Multiple attractions bringing together the Bass Pro Fishing community including a Fly Casting aisle, Bass Pro Shops Main stage, and expert fly tiers throughout the weekend
• Kid’s activities at the B1 booth, including casting and bass workshops to teach youth about the sport
• The chance to win exciting door prizes, including getaways from Oak Island Resort, Adair’s Wilderness Lodge, and Pro Nature.
