On Monday November 27, Tanya Muller from Workplace Safety & Prevention Services addressed the crowd of Boating Ontario members talking about ways to improve industrial health and safety for your small business or marina. This organization has recently launched a new online small business center that is more robust, intuitive and easier to use than ever. With the click of a button you can access to health and safety information relevant to your business, at your convenience and in the privacy of your own office.

Use this service to stay on track with their safety checklist and then follow their roadmap to help address your legal requirements and occupational health and safety [OHS] gaps and concerts. Duncan Peacock, resident of Kitimat BC and member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63, has been awarded the 12th annual Tim Jones Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Outdoor Community in British Columbia.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.
