MERCURY MARINE PRESIDENT JOHN PFEIFER ON THEIR ACQUISITION OF POWER PRODUCTS

Andy Adams and John Pfeifer

Oct 2nd, 2018

This August, Mercury Marine announced the acquisition of the Power Products group of companies. Boating Industry Canada traveled to a special media event in New York City where we had an opportunity to interview John Pfeiffer, president of Mercury Marine to ask him about this development.

Although the focus of the event was on the new V-6 and V8 Mercury outboard engines, we viewed the recent acquisition of Power Products and the launch of the Nautic-On modular onboard communication and sensor systems as a very significant development in connectivity and future consumer satisfaction.
