PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF ABYC STANDARDS NOVEMBER 5-6, 2019 – ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

ABYC

Oct 22, 2019

Limited space is remaining for ABYC’s newest hands-on learning course, designed for entry-level marine professionals, marine surveyors, service writers, sales/customer service representatives, and insurance personnel.

This specialized two-day course consists of classroom elements and on-board learning utilizing the ABYC Foundation’s “living classroom”, a 38′ Californian Convertible. Students will inspect the vessel, evaluate it for compliance with ABYC Standards, and present their recommendations to the class.

Course Highlights:
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the ABYC Standards
• Learn how to apply the standards to older boats
• Learn how to identify and document compliance issues, cite appropriate standards, and make detailed recommendations, whether for insurance underwriters and boat owners.
