Request for Proposal – Operation and Maintenance of the Bayfield (Bluewater) Marina

March 10, 2026

The Municipality of Bluewater invites proposals from qualified and experienced individuals interested in managing and operating the Bluewater Marina, located at the mouth of the Bayfield River on Lake Huron. This scenic, Blue Flag-certified marina includes seasonal and transient docks, fuel and pump-out services, and key marine infrastructure. The successful proponent would enter into an operating agreement starting January 1, 2027, for a term of 5 years, with renewal options.

Proposal Issued: Monday, March 2, 2026 Proposal Closing: Thursday April 9, 2026 at noon
