Highfield Boats has announced the launch of five brand-new models for 2023. These rugged RIBs include the new Highfield Sport 900 and Sport 760, which make their North American debuts at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) on October 26-30, 2022. In addition, Highfield is proud to introduce the Sport 700, Sport 660, and Sport 600.

Highfield’s Sport Series RIBs are premium yacht tenders and day boats ranging from 10’ to 30’ featuring upscale styling and amenities. The five new models for 2023 also have new, military-grade high-tensile chromated and powder-coated aluminum hulls based on the builder’s commercial-quality Patrol series RIBs for enhanced stability, seaworthiness and long-lasting durability.

“These new models are all in the upper size range of our Sport Series, including Highfield’s new flagship, the Sport 900, an offshore high-performance RIB nearly 30 feet in length,” said Highfield Boats President Christophe Lavigne. “We sell large RIBs all over the world, but we have focused primarily on marketing our smaller Highfield Boats in North America – until now. Following several years of meteoric growth in the region, we are excited to be launching these big new Sport models in North America. We designed their decks to meet the demands of American boaters with expanded seating and deck space, along with new eating and lounging areas including built-in sinks and refrigerators in the larger boats.

Highfield Sport 900
The 29’11” Highfield Sport 900 is the flagship of the Highfield fleet. Featuring a new, high-performance 26-degree-deadrise hull with welded lift stakes, this rugged offshore RIB delivers speeds of up to 60 mph when powered by twin 300-hp outboards. The helm console has space for two 12” multifunction displays to aid navigation. Equally suited to serving as a high-end day boat or superyacht tender, the Sport 900’s standard amenities include a Sunbrella top, built-in on-deck galley with fridge and large aft settee with table. The bow seating area converts to a large sun lounge and there is an additional sunpad aft. The swim platform extends the full width of the transom and features a handheld shower. A fiberglass hardtop and sunshade are optional. With the Sport 900, you can dare to explore offshore with comfort and confidence.

Highfield Sport 760
The 25’ Highfield Sport 760 serves as a support vessel for a wide variety of water sports or a trusty tender with comfortable seating for up to 10 adults. Its high-performance hull with welded lift strakes delivers speeds of up to 55 mph when equipped with a 300-hp outboard. But the Sport 760 looks fast even when sitting still thanks to the standard roll bar. The aft cockpit seating area with facing settees and pedestal table allows up to six adults to dine in comfort, shaded by an innovative optional Bimini. A drawer-style fridge is standard. Forward, the bow seating area doubles as a sundeck. The helm console holds generous storage space and even has room for a portable potty. Aft, the swim platform is large enough to launch snorkeling and scuba diving adventures.

More new Sport RIBs for 2023

Also new to the North American market for Highfield Boats are the 22’10” Sport 700, the 21’4” Sport 660 and the 20’3” Sport 600. Sharing the same DNA as the Sport 900 and Sport 760, these upscale RIBS feature standout styling details like diamond-stitched upholstery and EVA brushed-foam faux-teak decking. They also have ergonomic helm consoles with space to mount at least one multifunction display, expanded seating and optimized storage. Their tubes are all made of Orca® Hypalon for durability. These RIBs make ideal platforms for a wide variety of on-water activities including snorkeling, diving, fishing, picnicking, spending the day on the water with the family, and more.
