Whether playing a downloaded collection of songs or streaming a favorite music channel, it's common to use tablets and cell phones as entertainment hubs. And with the award-winning Infinity by Harman INF-BC4 Pre-Amp Bluetooth Controller from ProSpec Electronics, it's easy to keep these delicate mobile devices safely stored while controlling their playback on a boat, UTV or golf car stereo.
The most noticeable feature of the INF-BC4 Pre-Amp Bluetooth Controller is its compact size. At only 2-1/8" H x 2-1/8" W, it flush mounts where a traditional stereo faceplate won't fit, making it ideal for small dashboards, consoles or a cuddy bulkhead. And because the front is rated IPX6 waterproof, it can be installed in an exposed location.
Pairing the INF-BC4 Pre-Amp Bluetooth Controller with a mobile device is simple. The flashing logo turns solid blue when the connection is made. Using it is even easier. A three-way rotary encoder turns the device on and off and changes the volume. Three large buttons provide control over play and pause, previous track and next track. The intuitive combination provides smooth operation while underway, even with gloves on.
Installing the INF-BC4 Pre-Amp Bluetooth Controller is straightforward. It requires a 1-1/2" hole with 2-1/2" of clearance and a 12V power source. Pre-wired with an 18" harness and in-line fuse, it's easy to plug the RCA outputs into the amplifier. An overview and installation video is at www.bit.ly/INF-BC4.
