Fluid Motion, the builder of Ranger Tugs, Cutwater, and Solara Boats, has announced the promotion of Sam Bisset to Vice President of Marketing effective January 15th. Sam has been with Fluid Motion for over 9 years, most recently as Marketing Director.

In his new role, Sam will be based out of the company’s Arlington headquarters and oversee marketing strategy across Fluid Motion’s portfolio of brands. As the company continues to expand, Sam will focus on scaling up marketing capabilities and support for Ranger Tugs, Cutwater, and Solara.

Through spearheading the development of numerous website platforms and lead generation initiatives over his time at the company, Sam has dramatically expanded Fluid Motion’s digital capabilities and sales growth. His vision and execution of innovative online projects have been instrumental in building the strong customer-facing foundation that drives the brands today. Sam also leads planning and execution of several community events like the annual Fluid Motion Factory Rendezvous, which draws over 200 Ranger Tugs, Cutwaters, and Solaras, to picturesque Roche Harbor in Washington state. His skillful coordination of this rendezvous and other owners group cruises, is instrumental in building and maintaining meaningful connections with our customers.

Bisset commented, “I’m excited and honored to lead the way forward, building on the success Fluid Motion has achieved over the years. We create amazing boats that draw in the best community out there – what more could a marketer ask for? A big thank you to my mentors at Fluid Motion who have played a key role in my growth, and to my talented teammates who pour so much of themselves into marketing these iconic brands. Above all, a heartfelt thank you to our customers. I draw inspiration from their incredible adventures, and their experiences fuel my passion for this work.”

Fluid Motion Vice President, Jeff Messmer had the following to say, “Sam is the right person for this important role that demands a creative mind and a strong business sense. He has the experience, the vision, and the right personality to be successful. We’ve watched him grow personally and professionally over the years and it’s a thrill to see him in this new position.”
