INDMAR MARINE ENGINES NAMES CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Indmar Marine Engines has announced that Tim Maher has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.  As COO, Maher will have responsibility for operating units worldwide and the day-to-day-operations of the company and manufacturing facility.  Maher will oversee Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Research and Development. He will report directly to the Chuck Rowe, President of Indmar Marine Engines.

Maher is a 10-Year veteran of Indmar Marine Engines and has served as Vice President of Operations since 2014.  Under Maher’s operational leadership, the company successfully completed the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certification for its corporate office and manufacturing facility in Millington, TN. 
 
Maher also played an instrumental role in manufacturing more components in-house to further vertically integrate the company and control quality. He has also encouraged the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment and technology that has resulted in the expansion of Indmars’ brand and reach into new industry segments and manufacturing disciplines. These contributions have driven steady growth and ensure Indmar will stay on the forefront of innovation and continue to deliver award winning quality products.

Before joining Indmar, Maher worked in the Automotive Engineering industry. In 2005, he started his own company, T & S Tubular Solutions, who became a supplier to Indmar. Chuck Rowe made an offer to acquire the company and it’s assets. In addition, he made Maher a job offer as Manufacturing Manger.  In 2009, Indmar acquired Maher’s business and technology.  T & S Tubular Solutions was relocated to Indmars’ manufacturing facility in Millington, TN and Maher accepted the position as Manufacturing Manger.  It wasn’t long before he was promoted to Vice President of Operations.
