Sail & Marketing Skills Merge for Richard Mitchele

Richard Mitchele

Richard the boardroom guy

Feb 25, 2025

Richard ‘D’ Mitchele has two passions – sailing and marketing. Now he brings his double life together in a creative agency and consultancy aimed at solving everything in the ad/marketing/sponsorship for boating clients. Based in Oakville, ON but equally at home on the dock in Mallorca, or at the show in Dusseldorf.

As “D Danger”, he spent wild times blasting down waves in the dark on maxi yachts trying to peel chutes without falling off. The rest of the time, as Richard, you’d find him in boardrooms developing the kind of creative strategy that only a bow guy could fathom. Hey, when you’re up a rig in a thunderstorm at night and you broach, you get creative.

D feels he’s the perfect bow guy for marine industry marketing teams. Richard confirms he will be focusing on advertising, social media and tactical sales initiatives exclusively within the yachting industry.
