TOM SCHUESSLER NAMED PRESIDENT, POWER PRODUCTS; MIKE CONNERS NAMED PRESIDENT, LAND ‘N’ SEA

Power Products, one of the world’s premier suppliers of innovative electrical products and systems, has named Tom Schuessler president effective immediately.  Power Products, which was acquired by Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) in August 2018, is the largest parts and accessories acquisition in the company’s history.   

Schuessler has worked for Brunswick Corporation since 1984, most recently as President of Mercury Marine’s Land ‘N’ Sea business since 2003 where the company has grown into the largest marine parts and accessories wholesale distributor in the United States. 

Prior to leading Land ‘N’ Sea, Schuessler held a variety of leadership positions in Mercury’s Parts & Accessories business including Director of Distribution at Mercury Marine as well as Director of Parts & Accessories Logistics at Mercury.

Succeeding Schuessler at Land ‘N’ Sea will be Mike Conners who has held leadership roles at Land ‘N’ Sea since 1989 most recently as the Vice President of National Sales, a position he has held for more than 11 years.

“Mike’s promotion is part of our succession plan at Land ‘N’ Sea and he will continue to guide the company as the leading distributor in the marine industry,” said Drees. “Mike’s vast experience at the company, including leadership positions in supply chain, operations, sales and business development gives the business a consistent voice to lead the company into the future.”

“Power Products and Land ‘N’ Sea are important businesses in the Brunswick portfolio and ensuring the right leaders for these positions is crucial to our future success,” said Drees. “With Tom and Mike, we have two strong leaders who have the support of the entire company and we are excited for the growth of both businesses.”
