JMP COOLS VOLVO PENTA GAS ENGINES

JMP Cools

Aug 20, 2019

Volvo Penta has long since solidified its market share in the gasoline sterndrive field. While reliable and long-lasting, components still need upgrading or complete replacement as they age. For engine cooling pumps, JMP Corporation offers 100% drop-in compatibility and performance that outpaces even OEM parts.

Unlike some aftermarket products, JMP Corporation manufactures its replacement pumps in its ISO 9001-certified factory. Engineered to deliver massive water flow, their bodies are heavy-duty cast bronze and machined to exacting tolerances. Corrosion-resistant fittings, stainless steel wear plates, O-ring seals instead of gaskets and marine-grade, non-magnetic shafts are used to ensure a long, reliable service life. It offers six seawater cooling pumps to cover Volvo Penta’s wide range of engine models.

Each replacement pump comes with a JMP Corporation flexible impeller. Renowned within the industry, they’re made from a proprietary wax-infused polymer that resists salt, oil, chemicals and excessive heat. US Navy testing found they outlasted other brands by a two-to-one margin.
