POP-UP LED BOW LIGHTS UPDATE THE LOOK OF ANY BOAT

Acon Marine Pop-up LED

Oct 8, 2019

One quick and easy way to update the look of a boat is to replace an old, dated bow light. When upgrading to a compact LED Pop-Up Bow Light from Accon Marine, owners get the added safety of retractable hardware.

USCG-approved for 2 nautical miles, Accon Marine’s Pop-Up Bow Light uses high-performance LEDs for longer life, much lower power consumption and no need to ever replace a burned-out bulb. The Pop-Up Bow Light folds down flush to the deck when not in use, giving the boat a more contemporary look while eliminating unsightly protrusions.

Crafted from corrosion-resistant, marine-grade 316 stainless steel for long life, the Pop-Up Bow Light comes with a cut-out template and requires only three #10 screws for mounting. A choice of standard surface-mount, or stud-mount models without exposed screw heads, suit the boat décor and installation requirements. Both versions have an optional waterproofing cup to protect against unwanted water runoff below decks. An online video demonstrates the installation process in an easy to follow, step-by-step format at bit.ly/2e4F0DE.

Measuring just 4″ W x 4.4″ L, the compact model 210 Pop-Up Bow Light from Accon Marine offers a universal fit using a standard 3.5″ mounting hole. Model 211 fits the same cut-out as Accon’s popular 204-M light for easy upgrading. American MSRP for model 210 or 211 is $215.48 USD each.

CMRA

It’s impressive to me that Legend Boats could make such a significant change in one year but at their dealer meeting on September 10, the company announced many changes, including the introduction of four new boat lines; Halo pontoons, Vetta pontoons, Pulse roto-moulded boats, and a Legend Uttern series of fibreglass boats.

The dealer meeting was very well attended with 70% of their dealers in attendance and Legend hosted the event at the spectacular Friday Harbour Resort on Lake Simcoe, where there was plenty of room to take the boats out, drive them and really get a feel for what these new models were like out in the lake.
