Smartgyro to Showcase Advanced Stabilization Solutions at Leading European Boat Shows

Smartgyro Autumn Boat Shows

Aug 26, 2025

Smartgyro, a global innovator in marine stabilization technology, is delighted to announce its attendance at a selection of Europe’s most prestigious yachting events this autumn, the Cannes Yachting Festival, Hiswa te Water, and the Genoa International Boat Show, where it will showcase its pioneering range of gyro stabilizers designed to transform onboard experience for boat owners and OEMs.

The Smartgyro team is delighted to welcome partners, clients, and boat enthusiasts to their stands at Cannes, Hiswa, and Genoa to discover firsthand how Smartgyro is redefining the future of marine stabilization:

At all three shows, Smartgyro will exhibit a curated selection of models from its gyro stabilizer line-up, including the SG20, SG40, and SG80.

This selection offers visitors an insight into the entire Smartgyro family, which spans from the compact SG20 to the powerful SG150, all sharing the same design philosophy. The featured models include:

·                SG20: The ideal stabilizer for boats in the 45–55 ft range
·                SG40: Designed for vessels between 50–60 ft
·                SG80: Engineered for larger yachts up to 70 ft

While only some models will be on display, all Smartgyro stabilizers: SG20, SG40, SG60, SG80, SG120, and SG150, are built with the same modular approach, high-performance engineering, and service-friendly features that define the brand’s mission for a seamless and comfort experience at sea.

The SG40 on display this year, forms the beginning of a new evolution cycle for Smartgyro stabilizers that will continue to be progressively optimized over the coming years. Remaining fully compatible with all previous installations, the SG40 introduces further enhancements including easier onboard maintenance, improved performance, reduced weight, lower power consumption and an even smaller environmental impact.

Innovation that Redefines Onboard Comfort

Smartgyro’s marine gyro stabilizers are trusted worldwide for their ability to dramatically reduce boat roll, enhance safety, and deliver an unparalleled level of onboard comfort in any sea condition. Featuring powerful gyroscopic technology combined with advanced motion control systems, Smartgyro stabilizers continuously adapt to changing sea environments, ensuring smooth and stable cruising even in challenging conditions.

“At Smartgyro, innovation is at the heart of everything we do,” says Carlo Gazerro, Sales Manager Southern Europe at Smartgyro. “But equally important is being close to our customers and partners. Events like Cannes, Hiswa and Genoa are key moments for us, not only to showcase our latest technological developments, but also to strengthen commercial relationships, understand market needs, and drive growth in strategic regions.”

Unique Modular Design and Onboard Serviceability
One of Smartgyro’s standout features is its unique modular design, which simplifies installation for OEMs and boat owners. All components can be easily disassembled and passed through existing openings below deck, making installation efficient and cost-effective, even in tight spaces.

Unlike traditional stabilizers that require costly and time-consuming haul-outs for maintenance, Smartgyro’s systems are designed to be fully serviced onboard the vessel. This means inspections, repairs, and component replacements can be carried out without lifting the boat out of the water, a major advantage that minimises downtime and keeps boaters cruising longer.

Engineered to Perform, Built to Last
Smartgyro stabilizers are constructed with the highest quality materials and advanced engineering. From a robust liquid cooling system and hybrid ceramic ball bearings to cutting-edge control electronics featuring an Inertial Measuring Unit (IMU) for real-time data, every detail is designed to deliver optimal performance, lower maintenance needs, and extended product life.

Trusted Worldwide
Smartgyro’s commitment to innovation and reliability has made it the partner of choice for leading global OEMs and boat manufacturers.

As a company of the YANMAR Group, Smartgyro is backed by a strong industrial foundation and global vision that further reinforce its position in the international marine market.

Notably, Smartgyro’s SG80 stabilizer was chosen by luxury yacht brand Bluegame for its revolutionary BGM75 multihull catamaran, achieving unmatched stability and comfort that sets new standards in the market — made possible by the Smartgyro R&D team’s expertise in tailoring stabilization systems to complex multihull dynamics.
