TAKE THE 2014 MARINA WAGE RATE SURVEY

AMI

The 2014 Marina Wage Rate Survey is now open for participation.

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) and Marina Dock Age magazine (MDA) have partnered to bring you this survey which is intended to provide marina managers a means to compare the salaries of their employees to others in the same region and across the nation.

The survey will contain information about employee wages and benefits across a range of job categories including general manager, office administrator, store manager, forklift operators, dockhands and more. This survey will only examine positions related to marina operations.

The results of this survey can be used by managers to ensure:
• salaries are fair for the position, region, years of experience of each employee
• raises reflect experience and region, as well as performance
• benefits are in line with the industry

The more marinas that participate the greater the database from which to draw the results.  To contribute data, you will need to have payroll and benefit information ready so you can enter current numbers. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. To participate visit http://www.zipsurvey.com/LaunchSurvey.aspx?suid=69722&key=C99CA91A

The final report will be available this summer at no cost to all marinas who provide data for the survey. For those who don't contribute data, the report will be for sale to AMI members at a cost of $65 and to non-members at a cost of $99.
