SEVERNA PARK, MD-The National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) has announced that the 2017 NMEA International Marine Electronics Conference & Expo will be held September 26-28, 2017, in Bellevue, Washington, which borders Lake Washington and is part of Seattle’s Eastside. The venue for 2017 is the Bellevue Hilton Hotel. The NMEA Conference & Expo is the largest event in North America serving the marine electronics trade.

“Our 2017 NMEA Conference and Expo will focus on training, new product introductions, and technology developments in marine electronics,” said Johnny Lindstrom, chairman of the NMEA’s board of directors. “This event also provides dealers and manufacturers nationwide with the best face-to-face contact and networking discussions of the year.”

“Seattle’s SeaTac Airport is only 20 minutes from the Bellevue Hilton, providing easy access for those in the industry who may fly in from Mexico to Alaska, as well as those from the East Coast.” said Mark Reedenauer, NMEA’s President and Executive Director. “We are coming to the Pacific Northwest for 2017 to serve all NMEA members in the Seattle area and also all those based in British Columbia, Canada. Many of our Canadian NMEA members are within a two-hour drive of Seattle,” Reedenauer added.
