Elco has a little extra pep in our step these days. That’s because 2018 marks their 125-year anniversary. From their first display of electric launches at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair right up until today, they’ve continued a proud tradition of pioneering electric inboard and outboard propulsion and building some of the finest yachts on the water.

In celebration of 125 years of operation, Elco is proud to announce that they are doubling their line of electric outboard motors, adding an EP-5, EP-30 and EP-50 to the lineup. Here are their features!

EP-5 ELECTRIC OUTBOARD MOTOR FEATURES:

  • Zero emissions
  • Smooth running with consistent power throughout the speed range
  • Low noise compared to gas motors
  • Reliable and durable, with less maintenance required
  • Equipped with emergency stop switch
  • Multiple safety precautions including: over-speed protection, overload protection, temperature protection, over-voltage and over-current protection
  • LCD display for easy-reading of: fault code, power consumption, rotation rate, forward or reverse, voltage, current, and more (optional)
  • Hydraulic tilt (optional)

EP-30 ELECTRIC OUTBOARD MOTOR FEATURES:
