Fix Repair Putty is an easy restoration solution

Fix Repair Putty

Feb 21, 2022

Many people know that heartbreaking feeling when their boat hits a rock or something heavy falls onto the deck. The result can be anything from a chip in the gelcoat to crushed fiberglass matting. Thankfully, there’s an easy restoration solution: Fix Repair Putty from BoatLIFE. Formulated specifically for marine use, it’s ideal for powerboats, sailboats, canoes, kayaks and other watercraft.

BoatLIFE Fix Repair Putty is an easy-to-use moldable putty that hardens like steel. It bonds to fiberglass, wood, metal, glass and concrete, and can even be used underwater. Because it doesn’t sag, it can be applied on angled, vertical and overhead surfaces. After curing for 24 hours, the high-strength material can be drilled, sanded, painted and tapped to accommodate a bolt. Impervious to oil, gasoline, alcohol, caustic detergents and saltwater oxidation, it cleans up with only soap and water.

Using Fix Repair Putty is simple. A two-part formula, a 4:1 ratio of part A is mixed with part B. When sufficiently blended, the blue tint disappears; the putty dries white.
