Adastra Media Inc. Welcomes John Avdic

Canadian Yachting and Boating Industry Canada are pleased to announce that John Avdic has joined the magazines' team as Senior Account Manager, Western Canada. John brings 20 years of media advertising experience with several large newspapers and magazines. Most recently he worked with Canada Wide Media and several of their titles and platforms.

“We are delighted to have John Avdic join our team. His years of experience with British Columbia’s Boat Journal, and his knowledge of the BC marine industry strengthen our position considerably in providing integrated media solutions to our clients and prospects in Western Canada,” commented CY and BIC publisher Mark Collett on the appointment.

Duncan Peacock, resident of Kitimat BC and member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63, has been awarded the 12th annual Tim Jones Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Outdoor Community in British Columbia.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.
