Mermaid Marine Products Now Offers Blackfin Skeg and Blade Saver

Mermaid Marine Products now distributes the Blackfin™ Skeg and Blackfin™ Blade Saver manufactured by Regarding The Outdoors.

Established in 1973, Mermaid Marine is headquartered in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and supplies marine products to boat builders, boat yards and dealers throughout eastern Canada.

Designed to protect lower units from damage and enhance the performance of most marine engines, the Blackfin™ Skeg gets a boat on plane faster and holds it on plane longer at lower speeds.

An ideal replacement for damaged skegs, the added surface area of the tough, nylon composite Blackfin also helps improve stability and handling while reducing chiming and walking. Easy to install with simple hand tools, tape and caulk. No bolts or screws are required and sizes are available to fit most any engine.

The Blackfin Blade Saver is specially designed to protect propellers on outboard motors less than 70 HP from damage.
